The minimum effective dose is the minimum effort required to achieve a desired result.
It’s a concept worth thinking about.
For example,
If you want to boil water, any temperature increase beyond the boiling point will not increase the desired result.
And there is a minimum effective dose (MED) of treatment that, if extended beyond that, will decrease perceived value, decrease referrals, and decrease repeat business.
There’s a MED for worrying, working, eating, etc.
Basically, more is rarely better and often worse.
So, if you want to get the most out of your energy, your finances, and your resources, then always think MED.
It’s the most powerful leverage tool around.
