I wish every ChiroTrust member could following me around for a week.
If you did, you’d notice how I am able to manage ChiroTrust, my team, my day, and all of my responsibilities…all in a calm, steady, extremely productive and relatively uninterrupted fashion.
…and I think it all comes down to having the right attitude and perspective.
#1, I’m extremely grateful for just being alive and healthy. I don’t need much more than that.
#2, I don’t let much set me off. I’ve trained myself to become virtually unreactive and emotionally stable.
#3, I put others before myself. I rarely think about “making money”, how to get things from others, or my level of comfort; both physically and mentally.
Yes, I am really good at being okay with discomfort and I’m convinced that your level of success is determined by how good you become at tolerating discomfort.
But there is ONE thing I will not tolerate…and that’s feeling busy.
Am I “busy”? Definitely. I work long days. Long days.
But I do not allow anything or anyone interrupt what I am doing.
As long as I think about and/or do just one thing at a time, I don’t feel busy.
So the next time you feel busy, ask yourself what triggered it and what you will find is that you let something or someone get in your head.
Slow down.
Calm down.
Stay focused.
Protect yourself from all the noise.
…and watch how much more you get done each day and even more importantly, how much better you feel.
