Today’s Ben Altadonna Marketing Tip: Always Be Growing Your Mailing List

Since CHIROTRUST does most of the time consuming “techy” work for you, I don’t like to go too deep, too often into the why behind what we do … but there are a few marketing principles and concepts that you just cannot afford to ignore that have to do with your business snail mail or email mailing list.

Here are the main ones…

If your list isn’t growing, your chiropractic practice, dental practice or small business isn’t growing. It’s that simple.

When I mean “list”, I mean the contact info (email and/or snail mail) of anyone you meet face to face. Or anyone that has or is doing business with you.

The bigger your list, the better your product (Results, Experience, Process), and the better, the more frequent, and the more diverse the communication, the bigger the business. PERIOD.

For example, I would much rather stay in contact with 100 people 20 times a month (2,000 touches) than 500 people once a month (only 500 touches). But it gets real exciting when you contact 500 people 20 times each month (10,000) instead of just once!

Also, I’d much rather have a low conversion rate on a big number (more stable) than a high conversion rate on a low one.

So, no matter how big your list is now, just remember that the difference between salad and garbage is TIMING.

Whenever possible, never stop communicating to your list and always add to your list.

Because,  when everything is done right, our chiropractic members, businesses and entrepreneurs who stay on this track for even just a few short years will enjoy all the new patients per month and new clients that they will ever need.
