Ben Altadonna here.
It’s true.
I have a chronic disease.
Actually two of them:
Work and collecting wrist watches.
Since the age of 14, I’ve pushed myself, worked a lot, worked “really hard”, and have enjoyed working more than anything else.
Obviously, this ethic has its upsides and downsides but my proudest and most purposeful achievement to date has been ChiroTrust.
My mission with ChiroTrust is to change the public’s perception of Chiropractic and for sure, ChiroTrust is making a pretty sizable dent.
Close to 100 offices a month join ChiroTrust.
Each year, millions of visits to Chiropractors in the U.S. and Canada have been the result of what my qualified and respectable team of 42 does day in and day out for our ChiroTrust members.
We have changed the way Chiropractors think about consumers and have changed how consumers consume Chiropractic.
So what does this have to do with wrist watches?
Simply put, watches tell time.
But it’s not that simple.
How you use your time dictates how financially secure your future will be.
My current collection has helped add extreme value to my life.
Each wristwatch pleasantly makes me aware of time 10X more often than a smartphone, a Casio, or a Timex.
…and awareness is E V E R Y T H I N G.
- A good wristwatch attracts MY attention and as a result, it reminds me of how much time is left in each day. This keeps me on time and on point.
- Like it or not, a good wristwatch is good for business. It really does separate the “men from the boys” or the “women from the girls”.
- A good wristwatch makes you money.
Notice I said a “good watch” and although we all are entitled to our own taste in a watch, what is considered good taste is pretty universal.
As you will see from the video (link below or click the pic) that features a handful from my collection, my new friend Christian (he’s also the founder of Theo and Harris) makes a little fun out of my “AP T3” wristwatch and that’s why I and hundreds of thousands of people all over the world respect him.
On his very popular YouTube Channel, Christian holds no punches.
But I can afford to be the butt of his joke. Each morning, I have many watches to pick from.
Not just the “T3”.
If you pull the trigger on a doctor’s watch, you cannot afford to make a bad choice. It’s your daily work wear’n timepiece.
So you got to get it right—not only the right watch but the right watch at the right price.
Personally, I really do recommend going “pre-owned” and going “vintage”.
Just like pre-owned vehicle, you let someone else take the lion’s share of the depreciation hit.
But unlike most cars, with wristwatches, you can make money. Sometimes a lot. (Or at least break even.)
Vintage is classic.
Vintage typically holds or increases value.
Vintage is cool.
Now, I’m not trying to pitch you on buying a better watch and I have no financial ties with Christian or anyone at Theo and Harris.
But I will say this…
If you subscribe to his YouTube Channel you will learn to appreciate and value what a “good watch” can do for you.
It’s a tool.
Okay, without further ado, enjoy this segment as Christians rips me a new one…
AND AFTER OR WHILE YOU WATCH THIS SEGMENT, DON’T FORGET TO CLICK THE “SUBSCRIBE” BUTTON 🙂
You’ll learn a lot about watches fast.
P.S. – As you know, today’s “Time To Think” is like no other. More about watches, less about the business of Chiropractic. So if you are a little disappointed, my apologies. But really it’s not about watches. It’s about time and your awareness of it.
