Hi Docs…
I graduated from Chiro school at 30.
Up to the age of 33, I struggled.
As a result, I have lived in my office and have slept on a flat bench adjusting table.
…and I’ve been busy working hard ever since.
With that comes ups and downs, challenges, and the realization that when it comes to work, I am never caught up.
Yes, I am always behind.
There are more opportunities than there are hours per day to capitalize on them.
Does it create anxiety?
Yes.
…If I let it.
But it doesn’t because as of about 5 years ago, I decided to stop freaking out.
I gave myself permission to be imperfect and permission to only focus on the moment and only on things that are within my control and that made all the difference in the world.
As a result, my business has become bigger and more importantly, better.
My relationships, both personal and professional, are more transparent, vulnerable, honest, and fulfilling.
Yes, life is good.
And life can always be good IF you choose to…
Focus only on what you can control.
Choose wisely whom you associate with, what you read, and what you are exposed to.
Take really good care of your health.
Never multi-task.
Eliminate distractions by managing expectations, managing social media consumption, and if necessary, by creating physical barriers between you and the outside world.
Everything is okay if you say it is.
The opposite is also true.
You choose.
