When Chiropractors say that they need new patients, what they are really saying is that they want their weekly visits and their monthly revenue to go up.
That’s what they want.
So, how do you do that?
There are only TWO major ways:
- Retention
- Referrals
Notice… There’s no mention of “New Patients”.
Why?
Because new patients don’t increase weekly visits or collections much.
But Retention and Referrals do.
Now, you may say…
“Yeah, but you can’t have ‘retention’ and ‘referrals’ without new patients!”
My response to you is this…
You already get “new patients”. How come they aren’t coming back year in and year out and referring more?
Seriously. That is the question worth pondering.
…Because until you fix that problem, your visits won’t measurably increase.
Listen, some D.C.s really do need new patients. Either they are new in practice or they moved to a new area and are starting from scratch. I get it and ChiroTrust gets it.
If that is you, what you really need to do is let ChiroTrust work for you.
Use everything that we do for Chiropractic and our members.
But still, until you put more emphasis on retention and referrals, you will ALWAYS be in the patient-replacement business and that’s an expensive and NO FUN way to practice.
