Do Less, Not More

D

How do you succeed in practice while leaving room for friends, family, fitness, hobbies, and side businesses that you are passionate about (provided they target those already equally as passionate as you or are things that you don’t need to monetize that really turn you on)?

By doing less, not more.

This means that you eliminate unnecessary products, services, and processes that may have been of value in the past but no longer are valuable to the evolution of your business.

Then, delegate virtually everything else.

…and only doing what only you can and should do.

Here’s what this could look like:

  1. Work 4 days a week (If you are ambitious and already seeing over 50 visits a week, I recommend 8-11, 3-7. If not, then 9-12,3-6.)
  2. Adjust and eliminate therapies or have someone else in the office do them for you.
  3. Eliminate would be best as it narrows and increases the perceived value that makes YOU special and referral worthy.)
  4. Outsource billing
  5. One C.A.
  6. Add more facets to who you are and what you do beyond being a “Chiropractor”.

A 4-day work week is plenty of time to build a successful practice, provided that YOU yourself are doing less, not more.

It also gives you plenty of time to unplug from people.

It takes a lot of energy to be successful.

But unless you replenish that energy, you will crash and burn.

So, pay attention to what you do with your work time.

Become more efficient.

Do less yourself.

Think more.

And of course, market your practice 24-7 by building your list, plugging them into the ChiroTrust system, mail them online and off, with phones answered night and day.

Lastly,

Slow down.

Relax.

Live in the moment.

What can you eliminate from your practice, toff of your plate, or get out of your life?

Do that first.

Multiply through subtraction!
