Ben Altadonna: The Power Of Selling Happiness

B

Ben Altadonna, Chiropractic and Selling Happiness.

Coming from 1st generation hard working parents, one Italian and one Croatian, “Happiness” wasn’t the focus.

The focus was food, shelter, clothing, healthcare, education, and an annual vacation.

In those days, that life and lifestyle was the norm.

I have no regrets and am very thankful. To some extent, it made me who I am today.

Regardless, immediately after Chiropractic School I struggled, slept in my office, and was far from happy.

Although my hard work and commitment to success pulled me out of those tough times, looking back, I know that I “succeeded” the hard way and wasn’t very happy.

I have few pleasant memories of my life between the ages of 26 and 36.

Knowing what I know now, I would have been a lot kinder to myself. All that anxiety and worry wasn’t necessary, nor was the way I ran and marketed my practice.

I wish ChiroTrust™ was there for me like it is here for you.

So, how can you benefit from my story?

First off, don’t put your life on hold.

Still work hard, but take those 3 days off each week as discussed in the post Are You A Happy Chiropractor?

And if you haven’t already, read my article The 4 Day Workweek As Popularized By Ben Altadonna.

Equally important is doing everything you can to lift up YOUR patients.

Everyone has a story. From time to time, everyone struggles and it is certain that right now, some of your patients are experiencing the worst times of their lives and it’s not necessarily because they are in physical pain or in your office, but because they are human.

So don’t hyper-focus on educating your patients about chiropractic.

Instead, accept them as is. Give them what they want (read: The Top 3 Things Patients Really Want) and do everything you can to make them and you “Happy”.

…because if they and you don’t enjoy the process, then what’s the point?
