What is a “business card” really?

Its purpose should be to get your phone to ring but that’s rarely the case and there are multiple reasons for that.

WHO IS GETTING YOUR BUSINESS CARD?

Are they a stranger you’ve met on the street? If so, your business card may have little-to-no value. Ideally, get THEIR business card. That way you can control the ongoing communication. Otherwise, you are dead to them and they are dead to you.

But if they are ALREADY an extremely satisfied customer (patient), the RIGHT business card can get your phone to ring often, especially if you know how to correctly maintain that relationship with that patient.

WHAT DOES YOUR BUSINESS CARD SAY?

Most business cards repel because they have the wrong message/s on them including but not limited to: terrible business names, bad bullet points, and/or they reference a website that continues to repel business.

There’s too much about the doctor and/or practice and not enough about what patients already want or what they think they want at that time.

Most business card include words that don’t mean anything or have very little value to a person who hasn’t been in your office yet.

APPEARANCE

Many chiropractic business cards are too salesy looking, have inappropriate/meaningless logos, or include unnecessary and/or just plain bad photos.
