Ben Altadonna on Chiropractic Spinal Screenings
These days, nobody likes to be “sold”.
Wouldn’t you agree?
Do you like feeling pressured? Shoot, I walk out of clothing stores that won’t let me just be.
If I need clothes, I’ll go get some.
If I want help, I’ll ask for it.
If I want it, I’ll buy it.
Nobody wants to be told that they need clothes.
Nobody wants to be stalked while shopping.
Nobody wants to be sold what they don’t want.
Do you?
So, should chiropractors do “spinal screenings”?…in malls, out front of grocery stores, or even at “health” fairs?
That’s up to you to decide.
If you ask me, I’d say no.
It’s not what successful doctors do or need to do.
Spinal screening is poor positioning. It screams to your prospects that you need business and are willing to do whatever it takes, wherever it takes, whenever it takes…to get it.
Do some chiropractors do spinal screenings because they sincerely believe that it is their moral obligation to do whatever it takes to get the word out?
I’m sure there are a few out there but I seriously doubt that their intentions are believed or appreciated by the general public.
So, you decide what you are willing to do or not do…but to become more successful at anything related to your practice (marketing, promoting, treating, and communicating), think like them not like you.
