Is your overhead “high”?
If it is, let me ask you these questions…
1. Do you review a detailed Profit and Loss statement every month? (Cash Basis)
2. Do you have more office space than you really need?
3. Are you inaccurately including your salary as “overhead”?
4. Is your overhead keeping you away from doing what you should?
If your real overhead is less than 30%, then you aren’t spending enough.
If your real overhead is around 50%, then you shouldn’t be complaining.
If it is over 75%, then more new patients isn’t the only solution—you have much bigger problems.
Business and practice success is all about SPENDING TIME, MONEY, AND RESOURCES in order to get MORE time, money, and resources.
So don’t be afraid of overhead.
