If you are single or young enough to remember when you were, I’m sure you’ve experienced a few creeps.
For sure, most females can relate or recall when someone else just came on too strong and too soon.
Here are some examples:
A guy approaches a stranger and “Hi. Would you like to meet for coffee?” is the first thing that comes out of his mouth.
Or a first date goes deep about his past, his family, his hobbies, what medications he’s on, and his digestive problems and just before the end of the date, says that he knows that she will be his wife someday…that he can just feel it.
How about when someone is dumped but they just can’t let the other person go… calling to find out what went wrong and feeling terrible about it for far too long.
Creepy stuff.
Chiropractors do similar things…
They overhear a conversation and then tell the person, “You should come an see me, I’m a Chiropractor and I can help you!”
Or during a consultation, the Chiropractor talks about what Chiropractic is really all about and asks patients questions totally unrelated to their concerns and/or chief complaint.
…Coming on too strong, making patients wrong, or caring just a little too much.
Creepy stuff.
Building a real business is no different than building real relationships.
It takes time and you can’t skip steps.
It’s a subtle, seamless, and slow process.
At least for the healthy ones
…that last.
