DIVORCE: “To make or keep (something) separate.”
Even though the word “divorce” is most often used to describe the dissolution of a marriage, the reasons for divorce are a lot similar to the reason why most chiropractic patients leave you and never come back.
And like a real divorce, it’s both painful and costly.
One other thing, wouldn’t you agree that it’s more productive to work on the marriage before, not after, the threat of divorce?
Then, why do we as a chiropractic profession ignore our prospects, patients, and inactive patients? It makes absolutely no sense!
So just remember, every time — EVERY TIME — a chiropractic patient leaves you and/or never refers or comes back, it’s because THEY didn’t get what THEY wanted out of the relationship.
This week, I will be writing more about why patients divorce their doctors. I strongly recommend that you stay tuned for these articles.
Who knows, it might even save your marriage.
